New RSS FeedsHey everyone! We have re-done our RSS's feeds. Seems I-tunes and other web pages only offer a specific size to the RSS. So we have set up a Archive RSS and a Main RSS Feeds. So re-submit your your feeds and enjoy both our new shows and old.
Ode to 1337
(Thursday, 08 November 2007) Written by Stephen Curtis
First off, I want to thank the crew of Math Club for keeping true alternative entertainment alive and moving forward. Those of us who choose to use fireAnt as opposed to a cable box much appreciate it. I would like to see the fan base become more active in spreading word about the show. There are a couple of things we need to start doing to ensure the people that want the content know how to find it.   1. Digg it - Blog and digg show episodes and try to get season 2 on the front page of digg.com 2. Myspace - we all hate it, but mirroring episodes on myspace tv and blogging about them will help enlarge the fan base. 3. Tag it - Go to youtube, google video and the other video hosting sites and tag the hell out of the 1337 episodes. When a user searches "1337" math club's 1337 show should be the first to come up, but it isn't. The more users that tag the show with similar tags, the higher the placement will be. 4. Fan media - Make your own desktops, layouts, themes, techno mixes and other forms of media that showcase the show. After that, get it out there. 5. Spread the word, the right way - tell your friends about the show, but don't tell the ones you know won't like it. Shallow individuals that can't look past the production quality to see the merits of the show will give the show a bad name. We all know who will and won't like it, lets make sure that the people who are capable of enjoying the show are enjoying the show.   I am working on making some wide screen desktops, fan banners and a fan site for 1337. If Math Club can get up some high res production stills and high res video stills, this will make it easier.     PsyAck PS If you need a place online to host any content you have created, I can provide you space on one of my web servers for free (try to keep the file sizes reasonable). E-mail me at webmaster@leihai.com
